Sri Aurobindo Society was started by the Mother in 1960. She was not  only the founder and the Executive President, she remains its guiding force. From a very small beginning, over the years, the Society has grown into an international organization working in diverse fields of  life.

To move towards tomorrow, to participate in the birth of a  new world, in the making of a new humanity, in the creation of a better  and happier future –this is the unique privilege and challenge of  today.

Sri Aurobindo Society strives to bring together all those  who want to dedicate themselves to this task, with no distinction of  nationality, race,caste, creed, religion or sex.
