Hymn to India – Dwijendralal Roy (Translated by Sri Aurobindo)

This Bharata Stotra in Bengali was written by Dwijendralal Roy (1863-1913), a well-known playwright and father of Dilip Kumar Roy, a disciple of Sri Aurobindo. Sri Aurobindo translated it on 16 February 1941; the translation was published in the Modern Review, Calcutta, under the title “Hymn to India” in March 1941.
